The Cleveland Jewish News profiled some star attorneys this week, including a few with connections to Legal Aid - as told in their profiles:

  • Deborah Coleman, a long-time Legal Aid volunteer, reflected on her career as an attorney, "I wanted to do work that would make a difference and be fun and interesting."
  • Jennifer Martinez Atzberger, a former Legal Aid staff attorney, stated "People living in poverty are often voiceless, and therefore unable to fight to make the changes needed to improve their lives. I wanted to be a voice for them."
  • Jim Lowe, who got his start at Legal Aid, said "The inspiration to become an attorney came during my last two years of law school. I attended at night while working for the Legal Aid Society full time during the day."

Congrats to all attorneys profiled!
