The COVID-19 pandemic has caused immense grief and loss for many families. The Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA, “helps people before, during and after disasters.” FEMA is helping people with the financial burden of paying for funerals caused by COVID-19.
If you paid for COVID-19 funeral expenses after January 20, 2020, FEMA may give you financial assistance.

The COVID-19 Funeral Assistance Line takes calls Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
