Frontline Office Support

During the coronavirus pandemic, Legal Aid's Frontline Office Support volunteer program is on-hold.

When it will be possible to do in-person work, Legal Aid seeks support from students and people returning to the workforce who wish to gain office experience by assisting in administrative tasks in our four county offices: Cleveland, Elyria, Painesville and Jefferson. These opportunities take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays during Intake hours. Volunteers will greet clients, scan documents, answer phones and help with entry-level administrative duties.

In-house volunteer positions typically open in January, May and August, and require a minimum 12 hour a week, 12-week commitment.

Requirements for volunteering with Legal Aid include a commitment to helping low-income persons; excellent communication skills; an ability to work independently and with a team; and respect for people of diverse cultures and communities. Additional requirements include a proficiency in MS Office 365; attention to detail; and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
