As a college student in the 60s, it was my intention to save the world by assisting those in need. Well, my career took a divergence; so, when I took my first pro bono case many years ago, and felt the gratitude of a woman in a desperate situation, I experienced what I was hoping for back in the 60s.
Every time I am involved in pro bono activities, I am rewarded with that 60s feeling again. I plan to continue long into what a colleague so wisely called my Act 2. That’s my Legal Aid Story.
