I went to law school because I wanted to be a legal aid lawyer. After I won one of my first cases, my client hugged me and cried. She was now able to buy fruit for her kids with her newly won food stamps — the day before Thanksgiving. I was hooked.
This was the work for me. That’s my Legal Aid story.
