There was a family that was about to get evicted from their home because of a dispute with the landlord who was not paying for heat. They went to Legal Aid and found the services available to them to straighten out that situation, stay in their home and live under good conditions. That is impactful.
Legal Aid helps people with one thing, which enables them to deal with other factors in life. There’s a ripple effect in all Legal Aid does.
