Lisa passed away April 8, 2018. Cancer took her life, but it could not take her love of life from her. During her three-year battle with cancer, she traveled to six countries and fifteen states, always eager to meet new people and experience new cultures. She walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain, ziplined in Hawaii, took a Cajun cooking class in New Orleans, and attended a New Year's Eve Party in Kingston, Jamaica with a family she befriended.
Her love of life included a passionate commitment to justice for all. In her time as an attorney, she volunteered with The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland in a variety of ways: helping at brief advice clinics and encouraging fellow attorneys to support Legal Aid's mission.
Today, her daughter, Julia, is an attorney at Legal Aid continuing Lisa's legacy. Please consider a gift to Legal Aid today to honor Lisa.
