Free Legal Advice Clinics

Legal Aid hosts free brief legal advice clinics throughout our 5-county service area: Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, and Lorain counties.

At these clinics, Legal Aid staff and volunteer attorneys answer questions and provide advice about all sorts of civil legal issues (not criminal) – matters related to housing, safety, consumer rights, health, family, education, employment, money, and public benefits. Some clinics are by appointment only. Other clinics are first-come, first-served. If a clinic is at capacity, those who arrive after the intake hour may be referred to a future clinic.

Please share this information widely! We encourage folks to visit an in-person clinic for free advice about civil legal issues.

Visit the Events page on our website anytime to view the full clinic schedule.
