The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland is pleased to host a Public Officials Breakfast to update community leaders on the important work of Legal Aid - especially its growing housing practice.

United States Senator Rob Portman will deliver keynote remarks at the end of the program, focused on his bipartisan work related to eviction prevention.

Senator Portman is working to shed light on the root causes of the eviction crisis, reduce preventable evictions, and limit the devastation to families when eviction is unavoidable.  This past year, Senators Portman and Bennett (D-CO) introduced the Eviction Crisis Act to address the national housing crisis crippling millions of Americans who are struggling to rise into the middle class.
