The Deaconess Foundation is a private foundation committed to helping Cuyahoga County's most disadvantaged residents prepare for, get and keep jobs.  The Deaconess Foundation makes grants to organizations and collaborates with others to strengthen employment in the community.

Authored by Julie Cortes, a senior attorney at The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, the report highlights the impact of poverty on employability, and then highlights key legal interventions that can help low-income people move out-of poverty. Click here to view the full report.
