On Wednesday, WKYC featured the Legal Aid ’s Jam for Justice!
Due to weather and COVID concerns, the in-person event turned into a livestream, but that did not stop seven bands from taking the stage inside the Great Lakes Science Center. Rockin’ the virtual crowd were: Razing the Bar; The No Name Band; Luke Lindberg and the Hung Jury; Faith & Whiskey; SIX sometimes SEVEN; State Road; and Out of Order. The band members included judges, attorneys, law students, and law school professors.
Supporters who fought through the heavy rain and strong winds to make it to the event received complimentary meals and drinks to go.
Those who purchased the VIP Stay-at-Home Tickets received a “Cleveland Box” filled with all types of goodies.
“We are so grateful for all of the support folks are giving us tonight,” said Melanie Shakarian, Legal Aid Development and Communications Director.
