The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland will hold two free brief advice clinics in Geauga County this month.

The first will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 3-4 p.m., at Punderson State Park, 11755 Kinsman Road, Newbury Township. This clinic will be the first stop for Ohio’s brand-new “Justice Bus,” a mobile legal aid clinic sponsored by the Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation.

The second free clinic will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Chagrin Falls Park Community Center, 7060 Woodland Ave., Bainbridge Township.

According to a Sept. 9 news release, anyone experiencing a civil legal issue is invited to attend these clinics. Examples of common civil legal issues include landlord-tenant conflicts, difficulty accessing social security benefits, and filing for divorce based on domestic violence. Of note, these sessions will not cover cases related to criminal matters.

Attendees should bring any and all relevant paperwork with them.
