Are You A Kinship Caregiver Raising A Child Placed in Your Home by Children Services?

Legal Aid Wants to Hear from YOU!

A kinship caregiver is a sibling, grandparent, other relative, or nonrelative, raising children who are not their biological children.

Legal Aid would like to speak to you about your experience and potential rights to benefits and financial assistance if:

  1. Children Services placed the children in your home (conducting a home study/home inspection and a background check/finger printing); AND
  2. The case against the biological parent is still open in Court.

If you are low income and interested in speaking to an attorney about your rights, please call The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland for help at 216-687-1900.
