Saint Luke’s Foundation Announces 2021 Grants

On June 15th, the Board of Trustees of the Saint Luke’s Foundation approved grants to 20 organizations totaling $2,770,227 over two years. These investments advance the Foundation’s mission to achieve health equity by addressing social determinants of health including educational attainment, financial stability, healthy eating, and active living, safe and affordable housing, social connections, and the strengthening of the neighborhoods surrounding the former Saint Luke’s hospital.

Legal Aid is honored to be a 2021 grant recipient for our work securing justice across Cleveland and the surrounding areas. A long-time partner of Legal Aid, Saint Luke's shares our mission to strengthen and empower the people of Greater Cleveland as we pursue justice and equal opportunity for all.

  • Centers for Families and Children (1 year, $92,500) for Program/Project Support for Improving Outcomes in Buckeye-Woodland: Wraparound Support for Harvey Rice School Families
  • ioby (1 year, $50,000) for General Operating Support
  • The Cleveland Foundation (1 year, $50,000) for Program/Project Support for Greater Cleveland COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund-Vaccine Task Force
  • United Black Fund of Greater Cleveland, Inc. (UBF) (1 year, $200,000) for Capacity Building & Program Support for Center for Thriving Organizations (CTO)
