New system for workers owed back wages

WHD has launched the online Workers Owed Wages (WOW) system, previously known as the Back Wage Employee Locator System (BWELS).

This updated and streamlined web-based application, available in English and Spanish, allows workers or their advocates to answer a series of simple questions to find out if WHD is holding back wages collected on their behalf.

If they are owed wages, WOW then puts them in touch with the WHD office that can send them a check.  Check out the online system at http://webapps.dol.gov/wow/.
