Strong connections help older adults thrive. During this Ride & Thrive event we’ll shine a spotlight on the partnerships and community support that make independence possible. Hear from New York Times bestselling author Regina Brett, followed by an engaging panel discussion on how trusted community services reduce isolation and empower older adults to live safely, confidently, and on their own terms. Join us to connect, be inspired, and help strengthen a community where everyone can thrive.

This presentation will give the audience a glimpse of the scientific data showing how social isolation and loneliness can impact the health of those experiencing both. It will also pave the way for discussions on how to mitigate isolation and loneliness and will address competency concerns in older adults. - Panel Discussion: Transforming Connections, Building Bridges - Moderated by Hon. Benjamin Holbert III
This discussion features a panel of leaders from across Northeast Ohio focusing on how local networks of support interact with one another. The panelists will explore how various community and legal resources work together to reduce loneliness and empower older adults to promote healthy living and positive outcomes.
